Privacy Policy
App: Python Course · Last updated: September 2026
In short: Python Course is a fully offline app. We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. All your progress is stored locally only, on your device.
1. Who is responsible for the app
Python Course is developed and maintained by a private entrepreneur (FOP) registered in Ukraine. For questions about this Privacy Policy or the app itself, contact pycoursesupport@gmail.com.
2. The app is fully offline
Python Course doesn't require an internet connection to work. Once installed, the entire course — lessons, exercises, theory — and your progress are available and work completely without a network. The app doesn't contact any external server during normal use.
3. What data we collect
None. Python Course doesn't collect or request:
- your name, email, or any contact details;
- your location;
- device identifiers or advertising identifiers;
- any other personal data.
There's no registration, account login, or user profile in the app — none is needed, since all progress is tied only to the device itself.
4. Where your progress is stored
Learning progress (completed lessons, day streaks, level, settings, etc.) is stored exclusively locally — on your device, in the app's own protected storage. This data is never transmitted to any server, never synced between devices, and is not accessible to the developer.
If you delete the app — this progress is permanently deleted along with it, since no copy exists anywhere else.
This isn't a side effect — it's a deliberate choice: the app's architecture was built around privacy from the very start, specifically so the app wouldn't need any of your data at all. That cost real trade-offs in convenience — no syncing progress across devices, and no way to recover it after the app is deleted — but it's a price we chose to pay in order to collect nothing.
5. Analytics, ads, and trackers
Python Course doesn't use any analytics systems, behavior tracking, ad networks, or third-party SDKs to collect usage statistics. There are no ads in the app.
6. Local notifications
The app offers an optional (off by default) reminder to return to learning. This notification is scheduled and shown entirely on the device itself, by the operating system — no data is sent anywhere for this, and the feature is only enabled by your direct action in Settings.
7. Third parties
Python Course doesn't share any data with third parties — since the app doesn't collect any data suitable for sharing. The one exception is payment for the app's paid features (a one-time purchase) via Google Play Billing, which is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not this document.
8. Children
Python Course isn't specifically directed at children and doesn't collect any data about users of any age — so no additional questions about children's personal data arise.
The app's content (Python programming lessons) doesn't contain any material requiring an age restriction.
9. Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as needed — in particular, if the app gains new features in the future that affect data processing. The current version is always available at this same address.
